Tróndur Paturson’s islands float beautifully and quietly in Norðurstova. It is a peaceful room which enables guests to immerse themselves in their activity. Norðurstova is a flexible space in a calm, secluded area of the Nordic House and is suitable for many kinds of events.

Norðurstova is framed by large windows which brighten the room and open it up to the surroundings, but which can also be blacked out to create a cosy and intimate space. In this way, it is possible to create different atmospheres for the lectures, courses, meetings, film showings or workshops for which the space is so well suited.

From Norðurstova you have direct access to both Eystur – and Vesturstova, making it easy to break up into smaller groups and have several activities happening simultaneously.
