Residency in the Faroe Islands

Are you a cultural worker seeking inspiration, new impressions, and peace to work? Would you like to get to know the Faroe Islands, our culture, and our nature?

We invite you to apply for our residency. Between February 1 and April 20, 2025, you have the opportunity to spend 1–3 weeks in the Faroe Islands, immersing yourself in your work, surrounded by North Atlantic nature and a vibrant cultural scene.

We offer:

• A cozy apartment in the center of Tórshavn
• Opportunities to explore and gain insight into Faroese cultural life

You cover:

• Travel to and from the Faroe Islands
• Food and personal expenses during the residency

The residency is open to cultural workers, artists, and cultural writers across all genres and fields who are residents of one of the Nordic countries. We encourage both established and emerging practitioners to apply.

Practical information:

• Duration: 1–3 weeks between February 1 and April 20, 2025
• Application deadline: Ongoing
