Platform Nord 2019
Do you know a talented young artist at your Academy in the age of 18-30 who is ready to showcase their project in a Nordic setting?
Platform Nord was first launched in 2015, and we are now ready for the third edition of the festival in 2019! Platform Nord is funded by Nordisk Kulturfond and Arts Council Norway, and is created by Fluks - Senter for ung kunst og kultur at University of Agder. Nordic partners are Nordic House - Iceland, Nordic House – Faroe Islands as well as Royal Academy of Music, Denmark. Platform Nord is a festival for young Nordic Contemporary Art. The aim is to create a Nordic meeting place for young artists and their work.
The open call invites on a broad scale: Performing and visual arts including performance, theatre, dance, music, literature, film, installations, photography and more. Projects transcending art forms, and creative expressions that explore new ways of mediation are especially welcome. PN presents up to 10 projects of artistic quality and originality to the public in 2019. Each project can include more than one artist / practitioner.
Travels / accommodation expenses are covered by PN.
