OPEN CALL: Contributions to the Democracy Festival for Children
The Nordic House invites artists, creators, educators, organizations, and engaged cultural workers residing in the Nordic region to contribute workshops, performances, exhibitions, or artistic projects to our upcoming Democracy Festival for Children, taking place from 18th to 22nd March 2026.
The festival highlights the value of democracy, community, participation, and children’s voices.
Examples may include creative workshops, democracy-focused sessions, performances, music, installations, or projects where children create their own expressions. We welcome all formats that explore justice, expression, diversity, and collaboration — physically or digitally, locally or across the Nordic countries.
The main target group is children aged 3–13 years.
Projects must be fully produced. We are not seeking ideas or unfinished concepts.
